I made this image with the help of a friend named Waldemar. He made the model, I made the texturing/surfacing. It was made for an article/tutorial of a magazine named Animation Reporter from India. There is NO radiosity. I used only two area lights: one for specular, another one for diffuse. All surfacing and texturing is made with just gradients and procedurals. There is no SSS or such, just the use of gradients based on incidence angle and similar. Comments are welcomed!
